we love houseplants!
new plant shelves!!
This blank wall space next to the window looked perfect for plants, so I added some shelves. Since I haven't really been able to use natural sunlight for growing my plants before, I'm excited to see how this works out for them!

This year, repotting in winter is a nono for me.. but I just had to do it for my poor lil outdoor Monstera. Ive been preventing her from growing big & luscious since I wanted to keep her inside. But now since she’s living outside, might as well help her reach her full potential :-) Time Stamps 0:00 plant browsing 1:45 soil shopping 4:13 hi 4:26 repotting plan 8:54 making soil 11:15 Monstera upp...

Repotting Paphiopedilum Orchids 🌸
Переглядів 9 тис.Рік тому
This years summer was especially hot & dry so I struggled to keep up with my Paph watering. They really needed a new potting medium that would be more water retentive & a desiccated root clear out. So I repotted them & here we are 4 months later with healthy & blooming orchids ☺️ The ones that aren’t blooming will probably need much more time to recover, but so far the results are looking goood...

I've had these pinguiculas for over a year & they have been needing a good clean up for a while now. In my opinion, they look better when they're not so clustered & clumped together. Now I have wayyy too many pings but I love them all! Amazon Plant Supplies www.amazon.com/shop/erikalodes

Thx for the video. Very cool + beautiful pings
The list: (Natural light/temp. being a factor) 1) Difenbachia "Dumb Cane" 2) Ferns 3)Pothos 4)Snake Plants 5)Peace Lillies 6)Philedendrons 7)Spider Plants(Higher light needed) 8)Aloe Vera(Higher light needed) 9)Polka Dot Plants 10)Mirantas (spelling?) This girl gives a great list for those who steam that shower up regularly. 👍 I would also add air plants!
Are you a classical guitarist too? It sort of looks like you have short nails on the left and long on the right.. just like a classical guitarist.. if not you should give it a shot.. Fern looks great.. mine is yellow and I think it needs a bigger pot and some fresh dirt.. btw, aquarium water is great for sensitive indoor plants.. skip the distilled.. that actually sucks out the nutrients..
Those prices are 3-10x what they should be..... scammers
Is that stephania you plants it i Like your plan
Those black rubbers come off don’t they? There should be holes there?
People who love plants and Animals are good People !! And you have a magic glow on you
Wow that's a really nice nursery! Here in Las Vegas,we never get any Pitcher Plants in stores
Hello, beautiful gorgeous Pings! Can i ask whats the best way to get Pings to color up?
Propagate ludisia in a plastic container with damp moss, close the lid and check on it once a month. I propagated in water at the same time as I did some in the container, I got way better starts from container than water.
Thanks I learned a lot from your video 🥳 Those flowers are almost as beautiful as you are 😊
Thank you for the very informative video that i learned so much from. Do you have an O.F. account?
Best video for reviving orchids that APPARENTLY LOOK GOOD!
why do you need distilled water?
brilliant
Bom Diaa Gostaria de saber se vc sabe a id dessa linda orquidea. Sei que é uma phalaenopsis mais Gostaria de saber se vc sabe o nome do cruzamento
Hi. The silver color are fading from leaves. Even the new leaves are very very tiny. I placed it in a bright location and give water every week ! Can anyone tell what I am doing wrong ?
Moisture meters and fingers and hypnosis or tarot cards are not going to help with knowing how much water your plants need. As far as I can see it’s a complete mystery and everyone is guessing.
We are plant twins, I bought the exact same one leaf albo about a month ago. Used a similar soil mix as you, same pot as you but I see no leafs growing out of the node :(
You’re so right about taking the guide that comes with the moisture meter with a grain of salt. My moisture meter’s guide says sansevieria is a green zone 6-7 plant, which I guess means you should water it when it is still wet and that is simply not true.
But.. is it stackable? If so , how do you stack it? Get a slightly wider or narrower pipe ?
You need children.
I found some at HD and they have two plants in them…Would you recommend separating them and putting each in their own pot with a stake or moss pole?
Have to know where you got that mushroom planter!!!!
Hi , please where did you find the first AV you showed in this video ? thanks
Did you change the name of your channel? I could swear I used to be a sub of yours and this has happened, with other plant channels.
What about palm plant do they require light !?🤔
Very Nice
8 months and the damn thing still has no roots formed ? ?😆 Oh wow , I have the same plant and now i realize it will take like a hundred years for it to grow, that thing is soooo ridiculously slow
I though that bark are more important not the moss
Same the ones that looks like uours
Flowers are so healty
I also bought the same one n i noticed the roots are rotten
Where are you 😢
Ewhat about dumpster chechking?
oregno seed germinate best moisture level & ph?
Looks like you need to put it in a bigger pot
The orchid is beautiful. Do you always mix your orchid mix. Moss and bark?
Love them!!
That’s very interesting Erika, about the colour difference with grow light or natural light, thank you.
Thank you!!
My son got me flowers for mother's day and one was an African voilet
Richard,.beuitiful jade plant you have.next on my list is the jade pothos plant.good video information tips.take care.have a Great day.
I use a grow light..it's so beautiful
Hey I think we actually went to school together in the valley lol thanks for the tips
Roots are dangling or leaves?
9 out of 10 times these meters are broken or inaccurate right out of the box… I’ll stick to using my finger and/or a chopstick. Feels too wasteful to keep buying them and hoping for better quality.
An expert grower told me to put them in the smallest container that their roots just fit into and that tip turned my culture around, now I have to cut mine out of pots as the root systems are so healthy and big.
I just got a nepenthes alanta pitcher plant and I’m trying to learn on how to properly care for it. I don’t know when/how to properly trim it. I’m glad I came across your video. I hope you will keep us updated on the plant and hope you make more videos about pitcher plants. Thanks for sharing!
